The Wild Spectre VD is the staff-like blaster model owned by Mr. Saturday and is specialized for hypnotizing people, using a Cryptogrif slug. It is damaged in "Mission: Improbable" when Pronto uses a Tormato to reverse the rotation of the blaster, which also reverse the Cryptogrif's hypnosis.

- it is revealed in the episode dawn of the slug that the Wild Spectre VD's blasts do not work on Mr. Saturday.
- The Wild Spectre appears to be the only blaster which is incapable of firing slugs.
