SlugTerra Wiki

Future of Slugterra is a fan written blog about the future events of Slugterra, in terms of what happens after the movie is released

As most of you know, Slugterra is most likely closing to the end after Ghoul From Beyond is released; however I think not. After scouraging the web for information on Slugterra, on a website called deviantArt (under the account name KingdomHeartsRazor), I encountered a employee who worked at Nerd Corps. We had a brief conversation. Due to making sure that no one tries to spam her on deviantArt, she shall remain anynomous. I will post what the conversation was, although I'll be changing the wording a bit. Since it's hard to call her as "Nerd Corps Employee", I'll just call her with a fake name: Maya. This was posted on a journal somewhere on dA, so dont' try to look for it. There's probably hundreds everywhere. Don't bother "Maya", she has a job to keep and Nerd Corps.

Talking with "Maya"[]

MAYA: Hey! That was a well written post. I work at Nerd Corps and it's great to see some thoughtful opinions of our shows. Don't worry, there are a lot of us at work who feel the same way about Slugterra.

Don't worry, the movie is being made! though wheter or not it airs depends entirely on the client and not Nerd Corps itself. For instance, the Hot Weels Movie [Battle Force 5] was indeed made! But it only aired in Argentina. You can probably find a subtitled version of it somewhere. Nerd Corps had nothing to do with that. After all, why would a studio pour so much time and effort into a project that never sees the light of day?

Storm Hawks works the same way. Believe me, I think everyone would love to do more Storm Hawks. But the client pulled the plug on it.  Try not to be disheartened and Nerd Corps. We all work really hard on the shows we make, but at the end of the day it's always what the client wants, and sometimes things get left behind or changed. Anyways! As for the Slugterra movie, be patient and keep your fingers crossed. It's a fun movie!

ME: You work at Nerd Corps :O Can you ask them if there is going to be a continuation after the TV Movie, Ghouls from Beyond is released? Like maybe another movie or another series following? Please say yes...and if they don't, tell them that thousands of 11+ kids really don't want this to end. Make it real long, like maybe...Battle Force 5 Episodes long. If possible can you really ask them? It would mean really great to me and my cousins/friends who watch this show.

MAYA: Hahaha, your love of the show makes me happy. Sorry though, I can't say anything about anything in regards to Slugterra unless the info is already released online somewhere. Like I said before, Nerd Corps has little say in whether or not something airs, or if more episodes/movies get made. That all rests in the hands of the client, which I think in Slugterra's case is Disney XD. What I can tell you, is that depending on how well a show does, there is a higher chance that more episodes/movies will be done, and as far as I know, it sounds like Slugterra is doing pretty good down in the states.

ME: [I decided to edit this out because this was really irrelevant. It was just me talking about Slugterra compared to modern day TV Shows, which is Ben 10. I also asked her the favor of telling Asaph Fipke (creator of Slugterra) that I love this show and would most appreciate it if it continued.]

MAYA: Haha, yea. I sadly can't tell you any secrets, but I have watched the new movie already and it's great. If you like the show, I know you'll like the movie.

Next time I bump into Ace [Asaph Fipke], I'll be sure to pass on the Slugterra love!

Brief Analysis[]

I don't know about you, but the last words she said to me intrigue me a lot. It seems that she's indirectly hinting that there might be a sequel to a the movie Slugterra: Ghouls from Beyond. Asaph seems to have more planned for Slugterra than we think. Also due to the fact that many News stations have called Ghouls from Beyond the "first" movie for Slugterra. Hrm...there must be more that Disney XD isn't letting on yet.

"Vancouver, Canada-based Nerd Corps Entertainment will produce the first Slugterra TV movie, Slugterra: Ghoul from Beyond, for a spring 2014..." [Words taken from here]

Nerd Corps Entertainment seems to have a habit of their client pulling the plug, but Disney people seem reasonable enough. They rarely cancel any shows that they have picked up upon, so I doubt Slugterra will be dropped very soon. Either way, I hope the Slugterra Franchise will grow longer and longer, this TV Series was just too short. It really needs to be longer, and it has a wonderful concept. I wouldn't be suprised, but I would certainly be happy to hear that there would be a continuation from Slugterra after the movie, maybe looking into the Shane Gang's very unclear background.

We heard about Blakk, but what about Eli? Or Trixie? Pronto? How about Kord? They must have histories. I hope Nerd Corps plans to elaborate more on their histories.

Important Note [MUST READ][]

I MUST STATE THAT EVERYTHING I SAID IN THE BLOG ISN'T 100% THE TRUTH. DO NOT GO AROUND TELLING EVERYONE IT IS. DO NOT GO TRY TO FIND THE TRUE IDENTITY OF "MAYA". SHE'S BUSY ENOUGH AS IT IS AND SHE DOESN'T NEED PEOPLE KNOCKING ON HER DOOR TO FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENS IN SLUGTERRA OR ANY OTHER NERD CORPS SHOW. LET HER KEEP HER JOB AND IF YOU WANT TO ASK "MAYA" A QUESTION, COMMENT OR MESSAGE ME AND I'LL ASK HER.
