The Citadel also known as Blakk Industries is Dr. Blakk's base of operations and residence. It made its debut in The World Beneath Our Feet Part 1, where Dr. Thaddeus Blakk is told by Maurice that a guy with the name Shane (Eli) entered himself into a local tournament claiming to be the son of Will Shane.
The Citadel appears in most of the episodes in which Blakk is seen, and looks to be abandoned after Blakk's defeat in Light as Day. It appears again in a flashback in Slugterra: Ghoul from Beyond and finally in the fifth movie, when the Shane Gang finds that the Slugs are going missing across The 99 Caverns and they go here instead.
The only residents of this former cavern are Dr. Blakk and his associates and is the only cavern which has been shown to be completely dead after Blakk took over and scared away or ghouled all of the slugs of the caverns loosing the life energy needed to keep the cavern alive it not just stands as a base of operations for the Blakk Industries but also setting an example for what Thaddius would do all the other caverns in Slugterra and reminding the Shane Gang of what they will lose if Blakk won and all the slugs were ghouled. It cannot be recovered from its current status as seen when Tad came back to the Citadel, it was the same as before Blakk left it and saw no changes when all the slugs of Slugterra were called to gather at the place by Pieper. It also seems like no slug inhabits this location anymore.
