The Slugterra Institute of Technology (SIT) is a university in Futuria Cavern. It specializes in engineering, technology, Applied Science and natural sciences.
It first appears in the episode "Roboslugs", when Bartholomev shows the inventions of Tobias and Katherine McGregor to Dorium who donates his money to the Institute. The Institute is then attacked by Quintin, who is the former student of the Institute, using his newest invention: the Roboslug. Katherine then calls the Shane Gang for assistance.
