The residents from the Shady Acres were onboard the SlugTerran Express to Caverna Mall Cavern for shopping. Since the residents won't have any idea about the zombies in the mall, they would easily fall prey into Mr. Saturday's hands. Since waiting for backup would be too late, Millard, Eli, Kord and Trixie decided to face Mr. Saturday themselves.
