A Notable Mercenary
Mercenaries, also referred to as Slug Hunters or Gain Hunters, are Slugslingers who will do almost any job (around The 99 Caverns) for Gold and/or for Slugs. Mercenaries only do jobs for Gold or Slugs not for moral reasons nor free.

For the most part mercenaries are hunters, they'll hunt for almost anything; from small things like slugs, to mysterious and dangerous monsters as long as it's for the right price. But some Mercenaries, like pirates, will do other things, such as working for others and doing labor jobs.
