Makobreakers are Uncommon Water Slugs only seen in Deep Water, Dark Water. It belongs to both Malvolio and Brutale Drake.
In Protoform, it appears to be a red slug with a dorsal fin and two slits on each side of its head like gills. At Velocimorph, they are a red shark with black lines all over it, and also have two sets of fins. These Slugs prefer to live in underwater Caverns and rocky coasts.
It looks like a cavern shark. They can shoot their teeth like bullets. One can be seen in Drakes blaster at the start. The Makobreaker is a playable slug in the Slugterra: Slug It Out! app, and also the Slugterra: Slugslinger Showdown app.

- Its concept art page spells its name as 'Sharkus'.
- It is the only water element Slug that needs a Torpedo Shell other than the Bubbaleone.
- The name Makobreaker is named after the infamous Mako Sharks.
- Aside from games, the Makobreaker has the least amount of appearances, having only appeared in its debut episode.
